As a theater professor, Bart has an expansive theater generalist teaching background with his first love being musical theater, earning his M.F.A. in musical theater performance. His teaching philosophy is to hold himself, his students, and his collaborative team to the highest standards of excellence. He delights in encouraging and motivating students on their individual paths to success.
As the Founding Chair of Azusa Pacific University’s Department of Theater, Film, and Television, Bart developed new facilities, created new majors and curricula, helped hundreds of young performers find their voices, and raised hundreds of thousands of dollars in funding for the University.
